SMK SUNGAI BAYOR, PERAK

Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Sungai Bayor is a rural school located far from Taiping town in Perak. The school has over 900 students and majority of them do not have internet access at home because most of them come from families who work on estates, plantations and farms. Even with their lack of facilities and technical support, it never stopped the school from achieving consistency in using Frog. SMK Sungai Bayor is also an example school to schools in the Larut, Matang and Selama district.

The school started using Frog in 2013 with Cikgu Muhammad Amin leading the way and now strongly supported by the Principal, Encik Izzuddin Ali Hassan. Frog also received support from teachers who were willing to work with the Frog Advocate team and attend Frog programmes and initiatives organised in different cities or states. The school also started a computer lab timetable for teachers and students to take turns to utilise Frog in teaching and learning.
