SJKT JALAN KHALIDI, JOHOR

Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan (Tamil) Jalan Khalidi is located in Muar, Johor, with less than 200 students and around 12 teachers. The school has two buildings - one located at Muar Centre and the other on the outskirts of town. The school has been using Frog in teaching and learning since 2016, with active Gold Advocates and a supportive senior leadership team driving the success of Frog in the school.

 

Frog is making a difference in Teaching & Learning

Student of SJKT Jalan Khalidi use technology across multiple classes at least three times a week on a scheduled basis in the school’s ICT classroom. Each student uses a netbook to access lessons, videos and exercises shared by teachers on the Frog VLE.

 

A tool for teachers to teach better

Teachers conduct lessons with interactive content such as videos and virtual worksheets that are shared with students through the Frog VLE. Teachers also engage students in exercises through other applications such as Kahoot and Quizizz to assess students understanding. All students prepare lessons ahead of classes so that students can access the lessons during and after class.

Increase Efficiency

Before exams, teachers collect students progress through applications such as Quizizz and assess them to review students level of understanding. The data collected is also used to track overall classroom progress and report it to the district education offices.
