Sekolah Kebangsaan Bukit Nanas is a suburban school located in Kuala Nerus, Terengganu. The school is recognised for the most active and consistent use of Frog in teaching and learning in the district. The school started using Frog in 2014 when Cikgu Nasri became the teacher for ICT.  He started adapting Frog into teaching and learning for his classes and students picked up right away. Other teachers saw how students were enjoying Cikgu Nasri’s classes and started to pick up on Frog as well.

Frog is making a difference in Teaching & Learning

Student Engagement

Teachers in SK Bukit Nanas tend to utilise FrogPlay more in class because content and quizzes are already readily available. Through FrogPlay, students have taken the initiative to improve themselves by reviewing quizzes and answers. The effectiveness of Frog in teaching and learning can be seen through the eagerness of students to go to the computer lab just to use Frog for lessons.

Student Progress

Students are more responsible now in managing the computer in the computer lab, even without a teacher present.

Frog is making a difference in Community Engagement

Students come together as a community to inspire and support other students and teachers in 21st Century teaching and learning

Cikgu Nasri started training Year 6 students to be mentors to lower primary classes. Mentor students have the basic knowledge of Frog and assist lower primary students on how to login to Frog and how to use FrogPlay. This has helped lower primary students, especially Year 1 students, to adapt to using Frog in class.
