SK KAMPUNG TEH, SARAWAK

Sekolah Kebangsaan Kampung Teh is a rural school located in Mukah, Sarawak. The school has over 100 students and 18 teachers. Due to its location, the school did not have access to internet connection, rendering them unable to learn with technology.  The school started using Frog when they received the Frog Appliance. However, in 2018, they became active with Frog when their internet connection was upgraded to the YES 4G service. The school even participated in the Frog Championships and won second and third place in the student category for Level Up: English.

Frog is making a difference in Teaching & Learning

Student engagement

When students were introduced to Frog, they were beyond excited to be able to learn with technology. Since then, they have always shown high interest in learning and are very engaged during lessons.

Student progress

Through Sites, teachers are able to make learning interesting with interactive content and visuals. Teachers find that students have improved in their understanding of topics through assessment done using FrogPlay Quizzes. The school achieved the highest student passing rate of 92% in UPSR for English subject last year.

A tool for teachers to teach better

Cikgu Noor Ezzaidah, who is also the Frog Admin for the school, enjoys using Frog Boost instead of textbooks to conduct lessons because students pay more attention in class when she does so. Ready-to-use content on FrogPlay and Frog Boost has made it easier for her to prepare and conduct her lessons. Not only that, she is also more motivated and encouraged to teach when students are participating more in class, thanks to Frog.
