Sekolah Kebangsaan Kunak 1 is located near a small town with over 960 students and 69 teachers. However, the school has very limited ICT facilities since the computer lab is not functionable. With only 5 Chromebooks and 33 Netbooks, teachers and students are forced to share the limited devices for 21st Century teaching and learning.
But that did not stop Cikgu Dahiah binti Ali from driving the use of Frog for teaching and learning in SK Kunak 1. When she was transferred to the school in 2018, she brought along with her all the knowledge and experience on Frog that she has gained from her previous school. She was determined to kickstart 21st Century education in SK Kunak 1 through the use of Frog.
Frog is making a difference in Teaching & Learning
When she started utilising Frog in her classes, her students’ morale changed and they were more interested to learn. Other teachers saw how her classroom dynamic and environment, and they were immediately intrigued to know more. Slowly, more teachers started utilising Frog in class and saw similar results - where students became excited to learn and showed more interest during lessons.
Frog is making a difference in Administration
The school successfully implemented the use of e-RPH through Frog. 100% of lesson plan submissions are done through Frog and teachers find that this method has helped them decrease their workload significantly by saving energy and time. Not only that, submissions done online have allowed the administrative team to easily monitor and track teachers’ work.

Parents are more connected with what is happening in school
Through Frog, parents are now more connected with what is happening in school. This is because the school has taken the initiative to distribute parent IDs and conducted workshops to help parents get started with Frog. Parents are able to access classroom reports and monitor student progress all through Frog.
