Technology transforms the learning experience. Integrating technology in education gives students the opportunity to develop digital skills and also helps students stay engaged. At FrogAsia, we believe in empowering students in 21st Century education through the use of technology.

Here are examples of how Agama schools have benefited from using Frog in teaching and learning:-

Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Agama Baling is a cluster religious school located remotely in Alor Setar, Kedah. Since teachers started utilising Frog for teaching and learning, student engagement and classroom participation have greatly improved. Students have shown higher interest and motivation to learn, and are also actively having discussions and providing feedback via the Forum and Wall widgets teachers have included in lesson Sites.

SMKA Baling was also visited by international religious schools in 2017, Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) Muhammadiyah 12 from Indonesia, and in 2018, Maahad Nahdatul Ulum Ad Diniah from Thailand. During the exchange programme, SMKA Baling showcased the use of Frog for teaching and learning, and shared 21st Century best practices.

SABK. Maahad Ehyak Diniah Islamiah is a religious school located remotely in Batu Gajah, Perak. Students enjoy having access to free learning content available on Frog. Less fortunate students who are unable to afford revision and exercise books have benefited from ready-to-use learning content and quizzes via Frog Boost and FrogPlay. The school keeps the computer labs open for students to have unlimited access to Frog so that they can complete their homework and revision after school hours.

Last year, students actively and consistently use Frog throughout the Frog Championships 2018 and were winners in Level Up English, Maths and Science on a state and district level.

Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Agama Miri is a hostel religious school located in Miri, Sarawak. Even with limited ICT facilities, SMK Agama Miri has been actively using Frog since 2017. Frog Admin Cikgu Engku Mohd Shahrul Akimi bin Engku Ismail dedicated his time and effort to drive initiatives and support 21st Century learning through Frog in school. The Take Home Exercise (THE) programme driven in school encourages students to continue using Frog after school for extra revision.

With 95% of the students living in hostels, Frog has given them better exposure and an opportunity to develop digital skills. Students are now more tech-savvy and know how to utilise Frog and the internet for better learning outcomes.
