Dear Adventurers, we have arrived in Ireland!

Whether in preschool or in university, technology is rapidly transforming the way teaching and learning takes place in Ireland. The use of games to support learning in the classroom have proven to be successful not only to improve learning outcomes but also skills such as critical thinking and problem solving.

The School of Computing in Technological University Dublin conducted a survey with 714 primary and secondary school teachers to gain insight on a teacher’s perception towards video games in the classroom.

64% of the teachers strongly agree that games improve students’ motivation and engagement in learning, and that motivation can be related to the improvement of learning outcomes. 58% of the teachers strongly agree that games improve interaction between students, while 47% strongly agree that games help students achieve learning goals.
Since 2017, FrogPlay has been motivating students to improve through gamified-learning and a “practice makes perfect” approach. Millions of quiz questions are available at various levels of difficulty to support students as they learn independently and at their own pace.
