After over 5 years of constant development and improvement to provide quality 21st century education for all - any time, anywhere and on any devices, FrogAsia continues to celebrate the success and sustainability of 1BestariNet through our online platform, the Frog VLE.

We aim to activate 21st century teaching and learning in schools not just through the education system and its spaces, but also through its educators. We love celebrating the journey that schools take towards sustainable adoption of 21st century teaching and learning

Encik Saifulnizan Che Ismail, teacher in SK Raja Bahar and is a Frog Gold Advocate

One such school is SK Raja Bahar, Kelantan. It was not too long ago that the school started its journey with Frog when one of its teachers, Saifulnizan Che Ismail, was selected as part of the Ministry of Education’s Guru Muda 1Malaysia (GM1M) Programme which aimed for young teachers to be catalysts of technology in teaching and learning.

Prior to that, SK Raja Bahar was not an advocate for technology. But after attending the first session of the Frog VLE training, Saifulnizan realised that Frog was a great tool for the school, and had since then been a catalyst of change in his school. He has also supported teachers and other schools in Kelantan in adopting 21st century teaching and learning.

Not only did he win the 1BestariNet Teacher Awards for Creativity in 2016, he was also the Grand Prize Winner of the 1BestariNet Teacher Awards in 2017, through the nomination from fellow teachers and students. His contribution as a catalyst of change for 21st century teaching and learning in Kelantan gained him recognition, and he was made a nominee for the UNESCO King Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalifa Prize for the Use of ICT in Education. Today, he is an active Frog Gold Advocate Teacher who earnestly conducts training and knowledge sharing sessions with other teachers on a voluntary basis.

Three years on, SK Raja Bahar is now a model school for 21st century teaching and learning in Kelantan and its students are greatly benefiting from the use of technology in their classrooms.
