At FrogAsia, we are not just working towards making a difference in 21st Century teaching and learning, but we also work on providing effective 21st Century solutions that enable efficient school management. We believe that an increased efficiency in managing administrative tasks will lead to a decrease in workload for teachers, and thus giving them more time to focus on students and improving teaching and learning experiences in class.
Earlier this year, JPN Sabah reported that the state saved up to RM920,000 in a year. This was achieved when the state education department created a policy that supported and encouraged schools to submit daily lesson plans digitally through e-RPH on Frog. Teachers from over 669 schools have gone paperless!
But this amazing initiative is not limited in Sabah alone, as SJK(T) Sungai Ara in Penang is also saving cost by going paperless with Frog. SJK(T) Sungai Ara is a small school located in the residential area of Sungai Ara, Penang, with a population of only 100 students and 12 teachers. Although small, the school has made big steps with Frog. Headmaster Mr Sangga A/L Sinnayah has encouraged teachers to use Frog not only in teaching and learning, but to complete administrative work as well.
The e-RPH application is embedded into the school’s Frog VLE quick launch which allowed teachers to easily prepare and submit their lesson plans online. Teachers find that their workload have decreased through more efficient management of their administrative tasks with Frog. Not only that, Frog has helped the school save cost and significantly reduced paperwork. The school recorded that they managed to reduce the use of more than 6,700 sheets of paper within 8 weeks!
Well done, SJK(T) Sungai Ara! Read more about how SJK(T) Sungai Ara and schools in Penang are making a difference with Frog here - https://frogasia.com/en/impact-stories-pulau-pinang.
